HOGWARTS’ UNDERWORLD | KUROSAWA-KAI {KAGOYUMI} | BANG CHULYONG MIR/Мир
“Laughter after all, is the best medicine. My job has always been to maintain this cheerful attitude.”
ϟ Mir is the epitome of a hyper kid. Not only is he always hyper and all bubbly, he’s also a fellow prankster. Not a day pass by without him pulling a prank or cracking a joke.
Having been born and raised in Russia before being admitted to Durmstrang, he has a quite heavy Russian accent. A distant relative of the Riddles, he is familiar, very familiar indeed with the Dark Arts. Not that he likes this fact though. He detested Durmstrang - everything about it from its cold harsh winters, strict curriculum to the very unhealthy involvement in the Dark Arts.
Decided to transfer to Hogwarts as the headmaster of Durmstrang nearly decided to expel him. People often wonder why he’s in Hufflepuff and not Gryffindor for his bold and brash nature. Despite his prankster image, he takes his studies very seriously - having attended Russian schools before he was admitted into Durmstrang - which is why it’s not unusual to see him in the library all night long.
He earned the codename ‘Mir’ due to his cheerful and optimistic attitude towards life. It started with his fellow family members calling him ‘Mir’ and before he knew it, it became his unofficial nickname. It suited him really - Mir or written in the Cyrillic alphabet ‘Мир’ meant ‘World’ or ‘Peace’ in Russian. And that was what he wanted - he merely wanted peace.
Plans to be either a curse breaker or a professional archer when he grows up. Has quite a fascination with Arithmancy or anything that involves numbers. He’s a genius when it comes to the subject Arithmancy and also very talented at handling weapons. Hence the decision of him transferring to the Kurosawa-kai clan as he was deemed as much more suitable for the Kagoyumi family.
As he was previously a member of the Romanov family of the Leninsky clan, don’t be surprised if you catch him torturing people with a stoic face. He was raised to not reveal his emotions while working but when he was moved to the Kagoyumi family, he decided to get rid of his unfriendly persona he developed to maintain his position in the Romanov family and present himself as a cheerful person. Both clans require their men to be as polite and discplined as possible hence the reason why Mir can be extremely polite - not only does he bows down to his juniors at a daily basis, he bows a straight ninety degrees.
